We have current vacancies for:
- Youth Work Development Workers (20hr p/w) developing youth work projects in various locations or for targeted groups (e.g. Patchway, detached & mobile provisions)
- Assistant Youth Support Workers (6-12hr p/w) for youth clubs and project work
- Detached and Outreach Youth Support Workers (6-12hr p/w)
- Holiday-time Youth Support Workers (6-12hr p/w during summer/Easter & Christmas holidays)
We have various weekly evening youth work sessions available across 6 locations but we need staff who can do at least 2 evenings!
Work includes "junior" age groups (8-12), "seniors" (13-19) and also working with young people with SEND / ASC (varied ages 8-12 / 11-17 / 13-25)

Volunteers wanted!
We need volunteers for our out of school youth groups in Southmead (Tuesdays) and Easton (Thursdays) to support our sessions for autistic children and young people! Experience is desirable but not essential as we can provide training and support if you have a willingness to learn and get involved!
We need volunteers for activities across Bristol during school holidays to support our Bristol Autism Project sessions for autistic children and their families!
We are also looking for volunteers to support our evening youth groups for young people aged 11-19 in Filton, Patchway, and Frampton Cotterell and for young people with social and learning disabilities aged 13-25 yrs in Filton (Mondays) and Kingswood (Wednesdays).
We need more help with our Coffee mornings. On Tuesday and Friday mornings 10am-12pm we host coffee mornings and would love a team of volunteers who would enjoy making drinks and chatting with the members!
We need more help with our Silver Surfers group. On Thursday mornings 10am-12pm we would love an extra volunteer who would enjoy supporting older adult with tech (mobiles, laptops, tablets, digital cameras, etc) and of course making drinks and chatting with the members!
We need fundraising volunteers who would be willing to spend time helping with fundraising events and applications! This may suit someone with computer and phone access volunteering from home and could be any hours to suit!
All of these posts would involve completing an application form, interview, DBS disclosure (if working with children), and reference process.
We also need volunteers who have a couple of hours a week to spare, who love the outdoors who would be willing to maintain the outside of our property for us! We want to grow wildflowers so these may need a little attention as they grow. We have some raised beds which need some attention and we hope to grow vegetables to use in our programme – the volunteer would be able to take some of the produce home!
Trustees Wanted
We are also in need of new trustees, which is a voluntary role.
In order to have a balanced board we would ideally have applicants with skills in areas such as Human Resources, Charity Development, Fundraising, or Marketing. Applications are not however limited to these areas.
We are also looking for a new Chair of Trustee Board as our longstanding Chair stepped down in 2022 and our interim chair would like to pass on the baton! We are looking for a dynamic and proactive leader to take our charity to the next level! If you think you'd be the right candidate, please get in touch for a conversation with us!
